Residence permits
TYPES OF ARRAIGO
Social Arraigo
For those who have been in Spain for at least two years and can demonstrate social integration through an employment contract, family ties, or an integration report. It grants a one-year residence and work permit, renewable.
Laboral Arraigo
For people who have lived in Spain for at least two years and have a job offer of at least 20 hours per week.
Family Arraigo
For ascendants of minor children who are EU citizens residing in Spain, as well as for the legal guardians of such minors. This permit is granted for 5 years and authorizes employment both as an employee and as self-employed.
Arraigo for Training
For those who have lived in Spain for two years and commit to undertaking vocational training. After completing the studies, the permit can be renewed with a job offer.
Second Chance Arraigo
For individuals who have resided in Spain for at least 2 years and who have lost their initial temporary residence permit, either for failing to renew it on time or for no longer meeting the renewal requirements. This permit is granted for 1 year and authorizes employment both as an employee and as self-employed.
